Upon reflecting back to the beginnings of this journey,
I review the tools I brought to this adventure…
…and those I lacked.

As with beginning any journey, you need a sense of where you’re going and the guts to take the first step.
After that… repeat step one (literally).

That’s really the secret behind any undertaking or adventure — pointing yourself in a direction and stepping into it.  For it is simply the series of multiple steps that take you any distance.

As long as you don’t spend too much time looking down or looking back, but instead, looking ahead and stepping toward your future – you will eventually get somewhere…
…which usually beats getting “no where”.

However, that does not mean that it may not seem and appear like you are getting “no where” for quite some time.  But remember, that “no where” is ALSO ”now here”, simply from another perspective.    (yeah, I love that too!)

But whether you are “no where” or “now here”, to get anywhere else, the magic carpet ride dream will only get you there in your mind.  Agreed that it might be a more romantic and attractive means of transportation than simply using your own two feet, placing one in front of the other… 
However, I recommend putting your energy and efforts into your REAL life – by taking real steps.

Your imagination may be the guide, but don’t let it also be the place you play out your life.

Live your life and step into it – even if only one step at a time…
