And so I shake the Magic 8Ball another day.  It reveals messages like
“Ask again later”, “Reply hazy, try again”, “Cannot predict now”.

However there is an underground of folks who make up their own Magic 8Ball messages; in turn, shaking up the game of random/fated prediction to make it  more interesting.

Here are some of those curveballs which  I’ve come across
that offer a more playful approach to the sage advice
we seek & shake to acquire…

•   Betchera**, Bubba
•   Heck if I know
•   Don’t ask me, I’m a ball
•   Dear God No
•   Wait… What??!
•   How the **** should I know?
•   Go ask Google

And as I seek a future that transitions from “Better not tell you now”
to one that reveals “Outlook good”  (…or better yet, “Betchera** Bubba”)
…we’ll shake The Magic 8 again tomorrow.

…“It is decidedly so.”
