THEY say, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

I guess I’ll take that over the alternative colloquial comfort of “It’ll put hair on your chest.”

It’s a “Pick your battles”, in this case.
(Just a few quotes for our axiom aficionados!!)

However, amidst the committed but challenging
phases of the development of this project,
it sure would have been nice to get a memo
from the Universe confirming that things
were going to be all right.

Or better yet, a save-the-date postcard
to identify WHEN things would be all right.

Yet, in the meantime, I’ve continued to ‘x’ off the days
as I toil toward the progress of this passionate pursuit.

And, as with crazy love, something has you get up every day to come back for more…
